Police reportedly cut short King Saha’s performance over political sentiments

Fresh reports indicate that Ugandan singer King Saha, real name Mansoor Ssemanda, was nearly arrested on Wednesday evening at The Villa Bar and Restaurant in Bukoto, Kampala.

Via X at around midnight, Galaxy FM deejay Nimrod Nabeeta revealed the news of the Kings Love singer’s arrest.

Nimrod claimed that Saha’s performance at The Villa was cut short by security officials before being arrested and taken to an undisclosed place.

“At the Villa, King Saha has been arrested and his performance was cut short by security officials. He’s been taken to an unknown place,” Deejay Nimrod’s tweet read.

Other reports, however, noted how the singer had only been warned by security operatives at the venue not to incite the audience through political messages in his songs.

A video cited by this website shows King Saha emphasizing how he is not scared of being arrested and that no one will dictate how he performs his music.
