OBITUARY: Victoria University Community mourns VC Muganga’s fallen Mother Immaculate Kayonga.

A-Plus Funeral Management officially announced the death of the beloved mother of the Prof. Muganga Lawrence the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University, the late Immaculate Kayonga which occurred on Sunday 21st Decembers 2025, condolence .messages since that time have kept flowing from the Victoria University family, community and other friends of the VC. 

“A-Plus Funeral Management on behalves of the family of late Leonard Kayonga of Gwafu Seeta Mukono announces the death of their beloved mother Immaculate Kayonga which occurred in Su day 21st December 2025” the announcement partly reads.

There will a vigil at their home in Mukono on Monday starting with a service at 5:00pm, followed by a funeral service at St. James Church of Uganda in Gwafu Seeta Mukono on Tuesday and the final journey of the beloved mother at 2:00pm the same day.

The VC Prof. Muganga Lawrence in a heartfelt letter to the mother in heaven said that after the death of his father, the mother has shaped his life up to what he is today.
