Results:

  • Buddo SS (Uganda) 80-18 Gahini (Rwanda)
  • St. Mary’s Kitende (Uganda) 49 – 25 Bumala AC (Kenya)
  • Kawanda SS (Uganda) 46- 30 Oyugi Ogango (Kenya)
  • Andersen SS (Kenya) 31 – 33 Lutozo SS (Tanzania)

Primary:

  • Muhonze 35-42 Heritage
  • Heritage 56-42 Uyweta

For the past decade, the dominance of Ugandan schools in netball sport has been felt and evident.

The script and tiding is less likely to change going by the latest performance and results from the 2024 edition hosted in Uganda by Bukedea Comprehensive school and Amus College School.

Netball action is taking place at Bukedea Primary school, the same venue as handball.

In some of the latest results from the Wednesday games, Buddo Secondary School hammered Gahini 80-18 during a one sided duel.

Holders St Mary’s Kitende defeated Kenya’s Bumala AC 49-25 as Kawanda SS overcame Oyugi Ogango from Kenya 46-30.

Kenya’s Andersen lost 31-33 to Tanzanian side Lutozo SS.

Netball is among the sports disciplines at 2024 FEASSA Games. The other games include Rugby (7’s and 15’s), badminton, Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Goalball, football, handball, athletics, swimming, tennis and table tennis.

The games will run until Monday, 26th August 2024, on the day of the official closing ceremony.

Uganda is the overall defending champion after the games held in Huye city, Rwanda last year.
