Video director Sasha Vybz has lauded Bebe Cool for his unmatched dedication and investment in his craft. According to Sasha Vybz, no artist in Uganda’s history has committed as much time and money to their music as Bebe Cool.
Sasha Vybz refers to the artist as an “investor” due to his ambitious nature and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Sasha Vybz recalled a time when Bebe Cool demonstrated this level of commitment by suggesting they travel to the United States to shoot a music video.
Bebe Cool asked Vybz to spend a month in the U.S., scouting for locations and planning the shoot.
During that period, Bebe Cool sent him three songs to brainstorm, providing the necessary resources and covering all expenses.
This collaboration led to the production of the hit song “Wire Wire,” a project that required considerable effort and creativity.
Sasha Vybz says that their work was also influenced by the need to help Bebe Cool regain favor with fans following political tensions with Bobi Wine.
