Renowned media personality and talent manager MC Kats, whose real name is Katamba Edwin, has mended fences with singer and Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President Eddy Kenzo.

The reconciliation was facilitated by Yasin, the brother of businessman Hamis Kiggundu.

MC Kats initially had no issues with Eddy Kenzo. However, tensions arose when Kenzo received government funds on behalf of the federation.

Kats, an early supporter of the UNMF, believed in its mission and even encouraged his artist, Fille, to join.

Fille, who was struggling with drug addiction, received support from Kenzo to enter rehabilitation and rebuild her life.

Despite this support, MC Kats felt aggrieved because he had also sought financial assistance to organize a concert for Fille, which was not provided.

This unmet expectation led to friction between him and Kenzo. However, influenced by Yasin’s advice, MC Kats decided to address the issue directly with Kenzo.

MC Kats acknowledged the importance of responding thoughtfully rather than emotionally. He expressed his commitment to letting go of past grievances and emphasized the value of rational discourse over lingering resentment.
