Maroons midfielder Ronald Orombi is optimistic his side can cause an upset when they take on champions Vipers at Kitende on Tuesday.

Both teams come into the game on the back of big wins with the hosts edging title rivals Kitara 2-0 while Maroons beat relegation bound Busoga United 3-0.

Orombi who is one of the on form players for the Luzira based side says its not impossible to pick points from Kitende.

“Like you have seen from our last game, everyone is happy and motivated and I think we are good to go,” he told the club media.

“We believe in going to Kitende and picking a positive result as aim to hit our target of finishing in the top four.

“We have respect for Vipers but the players there are like us so the difference is the name.”

Vipers, second on the log with 45 points will reclaim top spot from BUL as long they avoid defeat but target will be to get three points in front of their own fans.

They will look to Yunus Sentamu who appears to have hit form at the right, Eric Kambale, Bright Anukani, Allan Okello and the hard working skipper Milton Karisa.

For the visitors, golden boot chasing Fred Amaku will be the go-to man in this one and they are aware that a win lifts them to 5th place from 7th which they occupy with 38 points.
