Ugandan reality TV sensation Deborah Nantongo, also known as Mami Deb, and her longtime fiance Michael held a glamorous Kwanjula ceremony on Thursday in Masulita.
For a couple of months, the 35-year-old has been beaming with excitement ahead of her Kwanjula – a traditional engagement ceremony where the bride and groom’s families formally meet.
On Thursday 30th May 2024, Mami Deb and her fiance held the function at Mami Deb’s parents’ home in Masulita.
The ceremony filled with pomp, glamour, and fun was attended by close friends and relatives who made merry as they witnessed the lovely couple notch closer to holy matrimony.

From the decoration to the fashion, everything was perfectly made, befitting Mami Deb’s boujie lifestyle.
The ceremony featured a couple of popular faces in Uganda’s entertainment scene including fellow cast members from the popular Kampala Creme show.
Mami Deb expressed her joy upon reaching the milestone and thanked God, her man, and her friends for making the ceremony a success. “Words can’t express how grateful I am…God is great,” she said.
