Following reports that Vipers have suspended their head coach Nikola Kavazovic for a week, the Serb has reacted.

Speaking exclusively to Kawowo Sports, the Serbian who joined the Venoms at the end of last season reacted to the reports by saying ‘No comment’ when asked if it was true he is suspended.

The former Township Rollers manager has reportedly enjoyed a bitter relationship with the management at Kitende with allegations of interference into his job by top club administrators.

One official who preferred anonymity could neither deny or accept reports of suspension of the gaffer but revealed the relationship between Kavazovic and Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa the club president was frail.

“I am not sure about the suspension but truth, there have been disagreements especially over mode of work,” a source told Kawowo Sports.

“If suspended, it could lead to exit but for now, I cant confirm,” a source further revealed.

Vipers have begun the season with defeat, win and draw in the three games played so far something which has left the management unhappy as they seek to wrestle the league title from SC Villa.

Early this week, the club confirmed addition of John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda to their coaching staff fueling speculation that they could be prepping for the departure of the Serbian.

Vipers host defending champions SC Villa on Saturday a match they must win to avoid falling behind early in the season.
