Reports reaching our desk reveal that industrial area-based discotheque Club Guvnor will be closing shop this December.
During his morning show at KFM, Kasuku disclosed that he had been reliably tipped about the closure of Guvnor.
He noted that the club is set to hold its last opening on 27th December 2024 to bid farewell to the nightlife that it had ruled for some good years.
In May, the high-end hangout announced how it had ceased hosting the Saturday night operations starting June.
The statement, however, hinted that the club would remain available for hire on Saturday for;
- Private Parties/Events/Concerts/Product Launches/Presentations.
- Guvnor Uganda is still available for hire on other days of the week, EXCEPT on Fridays.
It remained open only on Fridays for:
- Friday Night Live with Afrigo Band (Every last Friday of the month)
- Oldies Night (Every first Friday of the month)
- Guvnor FriYAY with Aka Dope Band (Every second Friday of the month)
- Guvnor FriYAY – Afro Fusion Night (Every third Friday of the month)
