Busoga United FC chances of beating the drop suffered another blow, after succumbing to a heavy defeat at the hands of Maroons FC.

The Jinja based outfit were obliterated by Maroons FC with a 3-0 loss in the game played at Luzira Prisons Ground.

Their former talisman Fred Amaku ochestrated the damage, scoring twice before Abraham Tusubira added the other goal.

A brilliant start saw the Prison Sentries put up a scintillating performance in the opening half with all the goals coming inside the opening 45 minutes.

Amaku opened the scores in the 27th before adding the second in the 33rd minute.

Tusubira also got onto the score sheet four minutes later to complete the riot.

The result takes Maroons FC to sixth place on 38 points while Busoga United remain third from bottom on 18 points.
