2024 Bika Netball Championship (Semi-finals):
27th April (Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium)

Over the weekend, the 2024 Bika netball championship was held at the St Lawrence University playground in Mengo, Kampala.
The different clans were engaged in exciting action during the first and second round action on Saturday, 20th April 2024 and the following day, amid rainy conditions.
Defending champions Ngeye had a bye from round one before humilitating Nvuma 34-06 during round two.
On round three, Ngeye humbled Ffumbe 40-11 to advance to the quarter-finals, winning 33-19 over Omutima Musagi.
Record winners Mamba Namakaka (Gabunga) also had bye from round one and ejected Mpeewo 38-07 during round two.
On round three, Gabunga’s descendants out-muscled Nsenene 32-15 and will face Lugave at the next hurdle.
In other results, Lugave defeated Ndiga 39-09, Ngonge overcame Musu 42-26; among others.
The climax of Bika netball competition will take place on Saturday, 27th April 2024 at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium.
During the same day, the official opening match for the football championship between Mamba Namakaka (Gabunga) against Butiko will take place.
Owek. Salongo Robert Sserwanga, the Buganda Kingdom minister of sports and arts has rallied upon the subjects and well-wishers of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II to come in big numbers for the Saturday events.
“I humbly call upon the subjects of the Kabaka and well-wishers to grace the netball climax as well as the football official opening ceremony at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium. Netball will start in the morning with the football match happening later in the afternoon” Owek. Sserwanga comments.
The bika netball and football competition is only and only for Baganda tribe players.
