Masaka City businessman Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesi has admitted to getting broke and becoming a beggar after encountering many financial troubles.

The controversial Masaka socialite admitted to being financially constrained after his discotheque Tarven Club appeared to be seized by the bank after he defaulted on paying a loan that he acquired while establishing it.

Speaking in an interview, Lwasa claimed that he reached this extent of being financially unstable by blaming the people of Masaka for always showing up at his hangout and getting drinks on a debt later which turned out to be bad debts.

He confirmed that he reached out to someone asking for financial assistance who promised that he would be coming to his rescue though he was not given a date when the financial help would come through.

Emmanuel Lwasa further blamed the people of Masaka for not voting for him in the 2021 general election and instead voted for National Unity Platform’s (NUP) Joan Mutaawe who beat him hands down.

He stressed that the election defeat was one of the hugest setbacks he has encountered in life and vowed never to forgive the people of Masaka for the pain and damages they inflicted on him.

Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesi was known as a loaded man who would change different wives at any time he felt like he wasn’t comfortable with the one he had at that moment. His dream is to have more than 30 children as he looks to expand his family.
