Nobat Events boss Norbert Twizire a.k.a Nobat Events has come out to claim that he has hijacked the presidency of Uganda National Promoters Federation (UNPF).
Nobat Events claim to hijacking the UNPF presidency came after the promoters federation president, Balaam Barugahare Atenyi was appointed as Minister of State for Gender, Labor, and Social Development (Children and Youth Affair) in the fresh cabinet reshuffle that was done by President Museveni on Thursday night.
When Nobat Events learned of the update, he quickly stormed the media and declared himslef as the interim president of the federation without being appointed by the federation authority.
He went ahead to warn fellow event promoters Abtex and Bajjo not to try coming out cliaming that they also want to be presidents of the same federation as he vowed how he is ready to take them on head-to-head.
It should be recalled that before Balaam was appointed the president of UNPF, Abtex occupied the seat and was ousted for bleaching the laws and rules that governed the body that consists of several promoters.
Since Nobart has declared himself the president, we wait to witness how the rest of the promoters will respond to his claim of hijacking the presidency of the federation since we are sure that he won’t claim the seat without a fight.
He further thanked President Museveni for rewarding Balaam with a huge position in his government for the works he has over the years delivered for them during their events.
