Bebe Cool’s wife Zuena Kirema reveals son’s struggle with eye condition and online abuse

Former media personality Zuena Kirema has revealed that his eldest son, Alpha Thierry Ssal, has been through four eye operations to correct his exotropia condition.

The wife of singer Bebe Cool was speaking to the media on her birthday last week when she decided to comment about the endless hurtful trolls his son receives online.

Zuena noted that the NEC FC footballer was not born with the condition, but he had an accident when he was younger, and it affected his eyes. He has since been through four operations.

She noted that Thierry Ssali is also hurt by the continued abuses he receives, especially on social media. She claims that the abusers have no idea what the family has been through to get him where he is currently.

There is a time when I post about my son and they complain about his eye. That boy got in an accident and he has been through four eye operations. When he sees these things and it hurts him but there is nothing we can do.

Sometimes you read the comments and wonder if these people have an idea about what I have been through to get my child to where he is. If God could turn the tables, I do not know if they can survive what we have been through.

She noted that she is pleased with the progress they have made so far regarding the condition and hopes it will one day be a thing of the past.
