Ugandan experts graduate in Foreign Policy Analysis from Lincoln Institute of Diplomacy & International Relations.
Lincoln Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations in partnership with Center for Policy and Strategic Studies (CPSS) Africa have held a graduation ceremony of various Ugandan experts and business leaders in Foreign Policy Analysis.
The diplomatic program was supported by the U.S. Embassy Kampala to a tune of over 13,000 USD.
One of the graduates Andysen Agaba while expressing gratitude to the support from the US Embassy in his diplomatic speech underscored the relevance of the training program in empowering next generation of leaders in international affairs.
“This experience has strengthened my understanding of diplomacy, global strategy, and the complex realities shaping international relations today. This support reflects a strong commitment to investing in human capital, strengthening policy capacity, and empowering the next generation of leaders in international affairs” he said
Mr. Andysen in his statement titled “Africa in a Changing Global Order” revealed that for Africa to remain relevant in international system, there is a need for it to actively shape the global agenda through coherent foreign policy frameworks, and investment in diplomacy ranging from trade and to security and strategic partnerships,
“Africa must not only participate—but actively shape the global agenda. This requires: Strong and coherent foreign policy frameworks, Strategic engagement with global partners, Investment in diplomacy, research, and policy capacity, A unified voice in regional and multilateral platforms” he emphasized.
While interacting with William W. Popp, Andysen reaffirmed the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding in advancing shared global goals while pledging to “remain committed to contributing to this vision—through policy analysis, dialogue, and engagement in the diplomatic space”

The Lincoln Institute of Diplomacy & International Relations (LIDR) offers specialized, non-credit executive education in foreign policy and diplomacy, including an Advanced Certificate in Foreign Policy Analysis. It is known for training leaders through initiatives like the Foreign Policy Executive Programmes.
