The super supreme mufti sheikh Shaban Galabuuzi has congratulated the Kakungulu Memorial school leadership for the great work done as all the 406 UCE candidates performed well pledging to continue offering all the necessary support possible.

The school director of studies [DoS] Rajab Munyu said the best performance came from the girls led by Nakyazze Hakima,Nantambi Zaharah, Wangi Sabil, Matovu Ashraf,Gift Salama,Kaggwa Jaludi, Nansubuga Latifa and Namuyamba Shatrah Matovu among others.

The school headmaster hajji Jamil Buwembo in his brief remarks congratulated all the stakeholders who collectively enabled the school to post such a good and outstanding performance saying almighty Allah should reward all abundantly.

Sheikh Galabuuzi was chief guest at the thanksgiving celebrations Duwa for the UCE students where he commended all stakeholders for their efforts leading to the good performance.

He strongly protested to both the ministry of education and sports on one hand and the Uganda National examinations board [UNEB] for their persistent act of choosing the official National examinations results release programs each time on Fridays saying the clandestine act negatively constrains the Muslim fraternity who are supposed to attend Juma prayers

"We are concerned and disappointed to note that each time the government chooses to release its UNEB examinations results, they select Fridays which activity coincides with the Muslim Juma prayers time as the Muslim stakeholders become hostage to the activity’ he observed.

He appealed to the government through the minister of education and sports maam Janet Kataha Museveni as the esteemed chief guest at such activities to kindly allow the ministry officials to reconsider selecting other working days other than Friday for the benefit of all stakeholders.

He noted that they would be grateful once their prayer was granted.
