Early next month, Sheebah Karungi will be staging her 2024 concert dubbed “Neyanziza” in which she is grateful to God for her blessings and achievements.
Lately, she has been doing a couple of interviews narrating and sharing her life journey.
When asked what advice she would give to her younger self, she replied saying she would tell her to be firm and focused on what she aims to achieve.
She went ahead to note that she wouldn’t deny her younger self the chance to try out different things as she doesn’t regret the path she took to become who she is right now.
Whatever I am today is because of music and the stage. I will never regret this path. This is my favorite thing that I ever done. And whatever I am going to do next is all out of this. Starting out, I didn’t get to know that I would go through all this.
I would warn the younger version of Sheebah to stand firm because not everyone who smiles for you wishes you well. People have masks on them and once the masks fall off, please believe them. It took me time to know when people’s masks would fall, I couldn’t believe it.
