Elijah Kitaka, Cindy Sanyu, Kapeke, and Real Homie among others have released new visuals for their music projects this week and we look at them in this piece.

  • Full Package – Cindy Sanyu

Nine years ago,  American media personality, socialite, businesswoman, and actress Kim Kardashian broke the internet when she bared her butt for the Paper Magazine Cover shoot. In Cindy Sanyu’s new visuals, she uses the pose for inspiration.

Directed by Sasha Vybz, the King herself’s new visuals are simply “different” if we are to go by the Ugandan standards and she tries to showcase her side as an Actress. Does she pull it off entirely? Watch the video and be the judge:

  • Single For So Long – Ugaboys

Ugaboys have a uniqueness about them that they have remained true to despite the ever-evolving local music space. Their music has rich West African influence which they fuse quite easily with Ugandan sound just like they have done in Single For So Long.

They also always keep their music videos simple but maintain their trademark fashion. It’s beautiful to watch:

  • Shuu (Remix) – Kapeke feat. Fik Fameica

After the big success of his breakthrough song Swiriri (feat. Rickman Manrick), Kapeke dropped another dancehall banger dubbed Shuu (Produced by Trapex Boomin). It didn’t take long before Fik Fameica jumped in the remix, adding fuel to the fire and turning into a proper kindandali favorite.

The visuals by Trace are filled with lots of twerking, fashion, and hilarious dancers, making it one to watch. Take a gaze:

  • Kiwoowo – Real Homie feat. Grenade

From his TikTok skits, Real Homie has managed to create a name for himself and is now one of the most trending designers in the +256. He is not letting the quick fame go to waste as he has also hit the studio with Grenade to release “Kiwoowo” – a song urging you to always ensure that you smell nice before leaving your house.

  • Dawa – Elijah Kitaka

For many, Elijah Kitaka is one of the most promising music acts on the scene. The Swangz Avenue singer works with Daddy Andre on his new project dubbed “Dawa” which translates as “Medicine.” He sings about how he misses his lover each time she is not with him like a drug.
