The shop owner, Mr. Peter Otieno, had been dealing with repeated break-ins and theft for several months. Despite investing heavily in better locks and security, the thieves always managed to steal something. The constant losses left him anxious and worried about the future of his family business.

One evening, Peter decided to close his shop earlier than usual and went home after ensuring everything was securely locked.
