Mudra opens up about near scuffle with Alien Skin’s gang at ‘Ekyepukulu’

Mudra D’Viral has spoken out about a tense moment that nearly escalated into a physical confrontation with fellow artist Alien Skin and his entourage.

In an interview with Spark TV, Mudra recounted the heated exchange that took place shortly after his performance at the ‘Ekyepukulu’ event held at Kololo Airstrip.

According to Mudra, the incident occurred as he was exiting the venue, just as Alien Skin and his crew were making their entrance.

Mudra admitted that he became emotional due to the aggressive demeanor displayed by Alien Skin’s camp. With tempers flaring on both sides, the situation could have quickly spiraled into violence.

However, in a move that prevented things from getting out of hand, Mudra took a step back and approached Alien Skin directly, urging him to call his squad to order.

This moment of de-escalation helped both sides calm down and avoid what could have been an ugly public brawl.

“No one was hurt, and that’s what matters,” Mudra stated. “We talked it out. I don’t like violence—it’s not part of who I am.”

He also took the opportunity to send a message to fellow artists, urging them to set a better example for fans and the younger generation.

“We should be role models. The industry needs unity, not fights,” Mudra added.

This isn’t the first time tensions have flared among artists in Uganda’s fast-paced music scene, but Mudra’s calm handling of the situation serves as a reminder that dialogue can always triumph over chaos.
