BUL coach Abbey Kikomeko has urged his charges to end a bad run by beating Wakiso Giants who they host on Saturday at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.

The Jinja based side, early pacesetters in the campaign have now gone five games without a win and have fallen into 4th position.

But with leaders Kitara faltering, Kikomeko’s men are just four points behind and a win will take them to within a point of the Royals with both teams on the same number of matches.

“We lost our last two home matches against UPDF and Villa and we can’t allow that to happen again,” said Kikomeko. “We have corrected our mistakes and are confident of victory against Wakiso Giants,” he added.

BUL won the reverse fixture 3-0 and seek to complete a double over the visitors who are still fighting for their life in the division.

The Purple Sharks are 12th on the table with 26 points and understand a win will all but secure their topflight status.

Hot Stat: BUL are unbeaten against Wakiso Giants in the past four league meetings since a 4-3 loss in 2022.
