IUEA & partners sponsors the 2025 massive Super Car Fest 256.
The International University of East Africa (IUEA) hosted the “Super Car Fest 256” on December 14, 2025, at its Sports Ground in Kansanga, Kampala, featuring luxury sports cars, DJs, food, and music, serving as a motorsport showcase, marking a big first for Uganda’s car scene.
A cross section of partners and sponsors joined hands to make this event successful including: International University of East Africa (IUEA), German Car Medic, TT Drags and Drifts Ug, The Auto Show Kampala, Street Racers Club Uganda, Wassa, Across The Nile R”sort Adventure Park, Noni Vie Lounge & Restaurant, Kololo among others
During the Car fest 256 official launch at Nono Vie Lounge and Restaurant, Kololo, the representative of IUEA, Natasha Abookie Sonnet, The Dean of students at International University of East Africa and the host host of the Car fest, said that “International University of East Africa is building community spirit and also into community building. Rally cars bring energy with the noise which is a stress reliever. We are also into Social Corporate Responsibility” she remarked.
Hakim “Daddy Kim” Mutyaba, one of the organizers revealed that, “The Car Fest 256 is one event that motorsport enthusiasts should not miss. There will be lots of entertainment and fun-fare”
International University of East Africa is a private non-profit institution in Uganda, and is a chartered University by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education.
In September 2022 the International University of East Africa was approved for grant of a charter by the National Council for Higher Education.
Recently the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in 2025 embarked on a significant campus expansion, academic achievements, aming other projects.
IUEA began expanding its campus in July 2025, a project that included the demolition of the former Wonder World Amusement Park (Didi’s World) in Kansanga to make room for new educational facilities.
In November 2025, over 600 students graduated where the university leadership and government representatives urged graduates to focus on community-driven innovation and technology.
Earlier in January 2025, IUEA was ranked among the 7 best universities in Uganda, reinforcing its status as a leading private institution.
In addition the university launched “New Upgrades in 2025,” which included RTX-equipped computer labs for engineering and coding, a high-tech sports center, and an expanded library and introducing several new academic programs designed to address emerging industry needs among other milestones.
