ISBAT University Announces Date for 19th Graduation Ceremony Amid Major Innovations and Strategic Partnerships
KAMPALA, UGANDA — Preparations are in advanced stages as ISBAT University Uganda officially announces its 19th Graduation Ceremony, scheduled to take place on November 12, 2026, in Kampala. The chartered institution released a statement via its official communication channels, inviting the broader community, families, and the Class of 2026 to gather and celebrate this major academic milestone.
The upcoming commencement ceremony will honor graduands across several diverse faculties, including Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Business, Engineering, and Health Sciences. As these students transition from intensive academic study, they are poised to enter both the regional and global workforce as competitive, industry-ready professionals.
The 2026 graduation follows a highly transformative year for ISBAT University, during which the institution aggressively strengthened its focus on technology-driven education, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and practical, industry-oriented training.
Reflecting this momentum, university leadership, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. K.M. Mathew, recently hosted key government officials, including the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Eng. Jonard Asiimwe Akiiki.
The high-level meeting focused on expanding strategic partnerships centered around the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) and accelerating campus infrastructure development to support advanced research.
In addition to preparing for the departure of its senior class, the university recently laid the groundwork for its future. On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, ISBAT University welcomed its newest cohort during the Fall 2026 Freshers’ Orientation Day at the Kampala campus.
The event introduced hundreds of incoming students to the campus culture, marking the start of their personal journeys toward academic growth, professional development, and technological innovation.
Further logistical details regarding the graduation venue, guest access, and streaming options for the November 12 event will be shared by the university administration in the coming weeks.
