Matchday 20 of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League was completed on Sunday, 6^th April 2025 at various playgrounds.

There were home wins for Gaddafi, Booma, Arua Hill and Blacks Power as the final bend fast approaches.

Following a winless spell of games, Gaddafi returned to triumphant ways with a hard-fought 2-1 home win over Onduparaka at the Works playground in Entebbe.

Samuel Junior Kawawa struck in the very first minute of the game before substitute Jonathan Mbula made it two in the second half.

Dominic Abonga pulled a goal back with 10 minutes to play off a well-struck penalty.

There was a scary moment when Mbula collapsed in the middle of the playing area and was carried to the waiting Ambulance before he was driven to Entebbe Regional Hospital.

An hour later, he stabilized and was discharged as the club is monitoring his full recovery.

“This was a good victory as we reorganize the house altogether. Focus switches to the next game away against Paidha Black Angels in Zombom” Robert Mukasa, Gaddafi’s new head coach who replaced Allan Kabonge stated.

Meanwhile, Booma defeated visiting Kigezi Homeboyz 2-0 in Masindi.

At the Pece Stadium in Gulu city, Arua Hill edged Kaaro Karungi 1-0.

In Jinja, Busoga United lost 0-3 to visiting Calvary at the Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe.

There were two stalemates on match day 20; Ntugasaze and Paidha Black Angels played to a 2-all draw in Mityana while MYDA and Buhimba United Saints settled for a non-scoring draw in Bukedea.

The earlier game played on Thursday witnessed table leaders Blacks Power defeat Kaaro Karungi 4-0.

Three clubs shall be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League after the regular season of the Big League concludes.
