My name is Daniel Muwanga, and I come from Mbarara, Uganda. Serving my people in public office has always been my dream. Politics runs in my blood—my late father was a respected local leader, and from a young age, I watched how people admired and sought guidance from him. When it was my turn to step into politics, I was determined to make a real difference.
But the journey was not easy. In my first attempt to run for a parliamentary seat, I faced a crushing defeat.
