“From Gatekeeper to Thriving City Entrepreneur: My Journey to Wealth”

Life has a way of challenging us in the hardest ways. For many years, I worked as a gatekeeper in Kampala, earning just enough to buy food and pay for a small room in the slums. I would watch people drive expensive cars, build impressive houses, and run successful businesses while I stood at the gate, opening and closing it for them. Deep down, I longed to one day be like them, but with the little money I earned, it seemed impossible.
My family was struggling as well. I had a wife and two children who depended on me, yet there were times I could not even provide their basic needs. Many nights I returned home feeling ashamed because I could not bring enough food. I would overhear my children whispering to their mother, asking why other kids had nice clothes and toys while they did not. Those words always broke my heart.
