A woman has revealed the strange nickname she was given, which she says made it hard for any man to consider marrying her despite her age. Gentrix, a 41-year-old from Kabete on the outskirts of Nairobi, shared how her neighbors used to refer to her simply because she had not found someone to marry.
She explained that it was never her choice to reach her 40s without a husband, but people overreacted and labeled her with the odd nickname “estate nun” as a way of demoralizing her.
