Management of Ssese Ssaza confirmed their technical department in preparation for the 2024 season of the Buganda Masaza football tournament.
Technically gifted and experienced Andrew Ssali is the head coach of the Ssese Ssaza football team.
The former Vipers’ talented winger was recently unveiled as the head coach at Dreamland Hotel in Kalangala district.
Ssali will work alongside a trusted team that also has Andrew Nsamba (assistant) and Bathelemy Jjuuko (goalkeeping coach) among others.
He has set the immediate target at hand; to qualify the team out of the group first as a top priority.
“I am happy to get the job at Ssese Ssaza football team. First, we have a target to qualify the team out of the group to the knock-outs.” Ssali whose father is a respectable Uganda Cranes legend (Paul Ssali) revealed to Kawowo Sports.
Ssali has previously served at Bugerere and Buddu Ssaza teams with one trophy under his pounch.
Like during his playing days as an active footballer, Ssali is a very organized tactician with great planning prior to and during the matches.
He is best known for awesome preparation of his players in training and the psychological boost with great game reading antics.
Ssese Ssaza is desperate to make history with their first ever silverware in the Buganda Masaza Cup football tournament.
The 2024 championship is ear-marked to kick off by the month of May.
