Global music star Eddie Kenzo has a soft touch for the beautiful game of football.

Through his football grassroots project, Big Talent Soccer Academy, Kenzo has virtually nurtured talents of young aspiring football players.

Right from scratch, many youngsters have been made into finished products as basic skills as ball control, positioning, passing, dribbling, shooting, heading and scoring are taught.

To spread wings drastically and capture a wider scoop, Big Talent Soccer academy has forged the right partnerships and collaborations.

One such partnership bridged is that with Vision for Africa High School – Nakifuma.

Since the year 2022, the partnership between Big Talent Soccer Academy and Vision for Africa High School – Nakifuma has been in place.

This partnership has mutually benefited either parties at hand with the students having the opportunity for education as they play football and the academy further stemming its roots deeps.

“We have enjoyed a good relation and partnership that has helped players develop in confidence, attained knowledge and groomed to fit in society” Abdallah Kent, head coach at Big Talent Soccer Academy remarks.

Players as Okello, Najib, Yasin, Mzee, Allan, Junior, Dawson, Waswa and Fuso, among others have all developed in personality and skills.

The school recently featured at the 2024 Greater Mukono football championships held in Nyenga, Buikwe; finishing fourth behind champions St Julian High School – Mukono, Quality High School Buwundo Buikwe and Mukono Kings High SS.

Besides football, Vision for Africa High School has further helped these students with attaining christian values and acceptable norms of the society.

This stems from the school’s goals of glorifying God, fulfilling the great commission, caring for the underprivileged and bringing forth a new generation of Godly men and women as servant leaders.

Vision For Africa’s values entail; persuing a Christ centered and Scripture based lifestyle, holiness, integrity, a loving, compassionate and caring ministry, faithfulness and good stewards of all God-given resources, commitment to excellency, transparency and accountability as well as building to advance the Kingdom of God.

As the school motto echoes aloud; “Born to Win, Our Father is the King”, Vision For Africa and Big Talent Soccer Academy will indeed triumph.
