Chelsea press conference live: Frank Lampard on Havertz, Pulisic, injuries, Ziyech and Newcastle

Chelsea are back in the Premier League action this weekend after what feels like a long international break.

The Blues make the trip north to take on Newcastle United in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday, knowing that a win at St James' Park will take them top of the table, for a few hours at least.

The international break has, however, left Lampard sweating on the fitness of a number of players, with the likes of Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic all under the microscope ahead of the return to action.

Injrueis are sure to be high on the list of topics for the Blues boss to answer as he talks to the media ahead of Saturday's clash.

We've got all the updates from what he says right here.

Jude Bellingham

The Borussia Dortmund youngster is the most recent name to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

With the Blues put off by Declan Rice's price tag they have reportedly turned their attentions to the winger, who made his international debut for England in midweek.

Obviously, Rice and Bellingham play in completely different positions but a move for Bellingham might make more sense.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

It's big six weeks coming up for the Chelsea winger, who has struggled for regular game time.

The January transfer window is just around the corner, so could he put himself in the shop window for a move? Or could it also show Lampard that Hudson-Odoi deserves more minutes?

Mason Mount and Declan Rice

It's not exactly earth shattering news but the duo are best mates and both were on the scoresheet for England against Iceland on Wednesday night.

Chelsea have long been linked with a move for the Hammers midfielder but the reported £70million price tag has proven an obstacle.

But it's seemingly a move Mount thinks would be of benefit to Frank Lampard and the midfielder has explained how.
