Artists Ava Peace & Joshua Baraka shines at the prestigious Hipipo Music awards 2025.

The prestigious HiPipo Music Awards, an entertainment force in Africa while celebrating their 20 years’ milestone held the 14th edition on 14th November 2025 at a glamorous night at Serena hotel in Kampala.  

Among the artists who stole the show were the winners of the East East Africa Best Artist which was scooped by Joshua Baraka who won 2 other awards and Ava Peace who won 2 awards of the female artist the year and the breakthrough artist of he year which was attributed to her fast rise, basing on the fact that last years female artist of the year was Sheeba Karungi.  

 The Best female Artist of the year award winner was handed over by the Joseph Kimbowa the Project Manager.

Mr Kimbowa applauded the visionary leadership of the CEO of Hipipo Innocent Kawooya, a renowned National Independent Medalist, who also handed over the Artist of the year w awars to Joshua Baraka.

Ava Peace is one of the educated and talented artist, a degree holder , hit maker , natural beautiful queen thus makes her different from the copycat queens according to her fan named Audrey during the award night.

Among the artists who performed at the night included Joy Landa, who declared that “I’m the f**kin best artist of the year” , the Cattle lager brand ambassador Mun G, Kapako among others.

Other winners includes Nandor Love’s song “kinawolovo” which won award for Best viral song of the year, chella’s song “darling” won the category of Africa Best Act/song of the year.

The HiPipo Music Awards celebrated 12 public-vote categories and special recognitions .
