Marriage is a dream for many, often seen as a blessing and a source of joy. But for John, a man from Gulu in Northern Uganda, marriage became his worst nightmare. Each time he married, tragedy struck. Within two years, his wife would mysteriously pass away. This happened repeatedly – not once, not twice, but several times. His family began whispering about curses, neighbors began to avoid him, and women started fearing marriage with him. John was left in pain, shame, and endless confusion.

He recalls the devastation he felt after losing his first wife, convinced it was a freak accident. But when the same fate befell his second wife, and later his third, he realized something far more sinister was at play. The villagers started calling him cursed. Some even believed he was a bad omen. The agony of burying young wives time and time again was unbearable.
