You have been transferred to IVF and you are thinking that I will get to know about this report in the next two weeks. What can happen in these two weeks, what does it mean, is it true, is it a lie and what can you do to make your pregnancy better.
· So, the first sign is cramping or slight pain that is happening to you. So, cramping is such a thing about which women think two things. That it is happening like the pain before the period, will it be like this?
· Number two, they also think that maybe there is a cramp in the implantation. So, it can be a good thing for the pregnancy. So, there is a good news and a bad news in this. The good news is that cramping happens after the transfer and egg removal.
It happens because there is a lot of fluid buildup all around and there can be a slight cramping. And it can be cured with small medicines. But if there is a lot of cramping and it is not getting cured with normal medicines, then it is a matter of concern. Because it can happen many times in ovarian hyperstimulation. So, if the cramping is with bleeding, then definitely call the doctor. And if the cramping is mild, then it can be cured with one or two small medicines.
The next thing is spotting or light bleeding. So, cramping is a thing about which you think or get worried if it happens suddenly. The second thing is bleeding. Because if there is a slight bleeding, then what will you say? Is there an abortion? Is my period coming? So, a slight spotting happens in 7-42% of people after IVF. This came in a research study. And in this small study, it came that there can be a good sign.
A good sign means implantation bleeding. When the embryo sticks to the uterus, sometimes there is implantation bleeding, which happens between the 7th and 10th day. So, good news can be that it is implantation bleeding.
And a bad thing can be that sometimes if there is a lot of bleeding in a certain route, then it is not a good sign. So, contact the doctor if it is not just spotting but a fast bleeding. Because spotting can happen, but implantation bleeding.
· The third question that people ask is, Can you have sexual intercourse after IVF? It is not a new question. Those who have sexual intercourse regularly, they have not had sexual intercourse for about 1-1.5 months at the time of injection. So, they think, is it right to have sexual intercourse? There was a study of 2000 people in Australia. To see if sexual intercourse causes any harm in the IVF process. They found that sexual intercourse does not cause any harm. And there is no major problem. And they felt that sexual intercourse does not affect implantation and development. So, if you can avoid it, then avoid it.
· Now, the fourth thing that everyone asks - Should you take bed rest? Bed rest during the two-wait period. See, there are a lot of studies. And they have also found that it has a negative impact if you lie down for two weeks. And the second thing is, if you keep lying down, it is more harmful. So, if you talk to a doctor, he will tell you to keep doing your household chores. There is no need to do a lot of strenuous work. But in this condition, there is no bed rest. You can also go to the office and do sitting work. There is no harm in that.
· The next thing is stress and IVF. What difference does stress make in the result of IVF? There are a lot of studies. And there is a good news. Stress does not make a difference in the result. There are two large studies. In which it was found that stress does not have any negative effect. Everyone has stress. But don't take it too much. But stress does not make a difference in the result. Anyway, if you have stress, if you have problems, then what can you do? You can get support from your family members. You can get support from a friend. In some countries, there are support groups. You can get support from them. You can go to a counsellor. You can take the name of God. You can sit in the temple and do yoga. But it is important to have less stress. Because God will give what He will give. And we are doing good deeds.
· There are no symptoms of pregnancy. Sometimes there is progesterone. The symptoms can be like this. Because you have visual thinking, You say that you are pregnant. But there is no sign of pregnancy. The next thing is, Pregnancy test during IVF. Understand one thing simply. The result will come after 15 days. Before that, check daily whether you are pregnant or not. Check the urine in the pregnancy detecting kit. Give a positive pregnancy test. Give a beta HCG test at the time given by the doctor. This will be best for you.
· The next and last thing is, HCG level and twins. We do the HCG test after 15 days. Ideally, it should be above 100. If it is above 100, then you are pregnant. But if it is very high, then what can happen? You can have twins. The level of beta HCG tells us whether you are a singleton or twins. You can think about it. It is not necessary. Ultimately, it will tell you about ultrasound.
Pregnancy is something that every person wants. Everyone wants a baby. If you don't have a baby, how much pain do you have in your heart? This is something to think about. When you get IVF done, apart from expenses, the pain of a month, anxiety, what will be the result? All this happens. It is natural.
Everyone has tensions before the test results. But the more you take it easy, the more restful you take it, the easier you take it, the more normal you take it, you will take your medicines regularly, you will not listen to the doctor's advice, the better your result will be. If you keep going, God will give you a baby.
No one can stop it. But during this time, you have to do all these things.
