Notorious city gold dealer and businessman Zaheer Jhanda has allegedly abandoned his support for Hon Raila Odinga and joined Ruto’s Tanga Tanga camp, according to circulating rumors.
Zaheer reportedly attended Ruto’s visit to Kisii in December 2019 over the weekend and declared that he had officially aligned himself with the Tanga Tanga camp, which is mobilizing support for Ruto’s 2022 Presidential ambitions.
Zaheer Jhanda was also the prime suspect in a gold scam where a royal Dubai family reportedly lost Ksh 400 million.
