Ugandans to Receive Free Artificial Prosthetic Legs at Ruparelia Foundtion’s Medical Camp
The Ruparelia Foundation has announced a 3-Day medical cap to donate free artificial prosthetic legs vulnerable Ugandans who lost their limbs from May 1 to May 3, 2026 to held at Mulago National Referral Hospital in memory and profound move to carry on the legacy of the late Rajiv Ruparelia.
The initiative according to officials from Ruparelia foundation is aimed at restoring mobility, independence, and quality of life for vulnerable individuals with limb loss with prosthetic legs that are customized for natural movement.
This initiative has been designed under the theme “Restoring Hope. Changing Lives”
The campaign focuses on those Ugandans who cannot afford prosthetic services of the artificial limbs which are often expensive and inaccessible on Uganda market.
It will be executed in collaboration with Mulago National Referral Hospital to provide specialized medical teams and modern designs of the legs with features such as sockets, straps, belts, internal frame, joints, terminal devices among others, held in selected parts of Uganda to benefits those communities that needs support.
