Growing up in a small village in Luweero, 22-year-old Moses Kato always dreamed of playing football on the biggest stages. From a young age, he spent hours every day practicing on dusty fields with makeshift balls, often barefoot.
Life was not easy; his family struggled to make ends meet, and there were very few opportunities for young athletes in the area. Yet, Moses’ determination and love for football never wavered.
While many of his friends gave up on their dreams due to lack of resources, Moses kept pushing himself. He would wake up early, run long distances to stay fit, and practice ball control using simple objects to simulate real game scenarios.
