To complete the Linksys RE7000 setup and install the WiFi extender adjacent to your main WiFi router, just plug it into a power outlet. Be sure to allow enough time for the extender to boot up after turning it on. At this point, connect any device, such as a computer, to the network it broadcasts, which is named Linksys_ext. With the device connected, please open the internet browser and search for extender.linksys.com. At this stage, it will ask you to create a password for the extender, to prevent one from facing the setup hassle; to avert someone using your password in an illegitimate manner. In the next step, all the available networks will be scanned. To connect the extender to the existing router, you will first have to enter your present WiFi password.
