Shaping The Future Of High-Speed Networking With Advanced Hardware And Custom Solutions

About us

Intilop was founded in 2006 in San Jose, CA, and it’s a tech company that works on improving networking. This helps customers make their products unique and improve them quickly. Intilop and its customers have used these solutions in various ASICs, SOCs, FPGAs, and large systems. We offer special products that make network communication quicker and more efficient.

Full Kernel Bypass

Full Kernel Bypass Adapters/NICs help improve networking by letting applications talk directly to hardware, skipping the Linux kernel's networking system. This reduces delays and improves performance, which is very important in high-frequency trading, where every tiny moment matters the most. Technologies like DPDK, RDMA, and AF_XDP help lower delays in different ways.

Fast NICs, FPGAs, and RDMA setups are important to getting delays under one microsecond. Using methods like CPU isolation, turning off power-saving options, and optimizing NUMA setups is important for low delays. For HFT systems, kernel-bypass technologies like DPDK and RDMA are crucial for quickly processing market data and sending orders. With the right hardware and system setups, companies can achieve delays as low as a few microseconds, which helps them stay competitive in a field where every moment is important.  These products help make networking systems more efficient without needing major changes. They are easy to add to existing systems, allowing businesses to improve their networks without costly upgrades.

Offload Engine

A 10G TCP Offload Engine is a specialized hardware component designed to handle the processing of the TCP/IP stack, which traditionally relies on the host CPU. By offloading this processing to the NIC, TOEs can improve network performance, especially in high-speed environments like data centers and cloud servers.

Offloading TCP/IP processing, TOEs free the CPU resources for other tasks and allow for better overall system performance. This is mostly beneficial in high-throughput scenarios where traditional TCP processing can consume significant CPU Cycles. And it can also deliver 4X to 20X performance improvement in TCP/IP network throughput compared to software-based processing. This is achieved by handling session setup, data copy, and maintenance tasks directly on the NIC.

Full data offload

Full data offload network cards help make networks work better by taking some tasks away from the main computer's processor and doing them instead on the network card. These tasks can include breaking down data into smaller parts, checking data for errors, and managing connections. By handling these jobs in the hardware, FDO lessens the work on the CPU and speeds up performance, which is especially helpful in busy data centers where servers talk to each other a lot.

Intilop products can also be customized to fit different business needs, whether it’s to reduce delays, increase speed, or take over data processing. They can be used in many industries, from telecoms to cloud services.

Intilop main strength is creating new ideas in silicon that make it even more unique. Our Research and Development team has skilled engineers with higher degrees, including PhDs in engineering and computer science. And has a track record of bringing new silicon and systems from idea to reality multiple times in the last few years.
