Ruparelia Foundation, partners host X space on charity outreach legacy as the Bukedea eye camp kickoff this week.

The Ruparelia Foundation, friends and partners on Wednesday 25th March 2026 held a heartfelt discussion reflecting on the legacy of community outreach program especially the Bukedea eye camp and the charity legacy in memory of the late Rajiv whose initiative still moves on to support the vulnerable people in Uganda. 

Mrs. Jyotsna Ruparelia in her emotional speech delivered an emotional reflection the on legacy, while discussing the highly invested Bukedea eye camp in reflection of Rajiv’s contribution which starts in 27th to 29th March 2026 at the Bukedea Teaching Hospital.

The Space, hosted by by Victoria University’s Industry Liaison Officer, Mr Isaac Bakashaba, brought together key members of the Ruparelia family, including Ms Sheena Ruparelia, Vice Chamce Dr Lawrence Muganga, Sheena Ruparelia and friends of the late Rajiv Ruparelia.

Jyotsna’s said that Rajiv was widely known for his generous heart and his willingness to help others without seeking recognition.

Sheena Ruparelia highlighted on the impact expected the eye camp, emphasising that such initiatives speak directly to the kind of person he was someone who cared deeply about making a difference in the lives of others.

 Dr Muganga said that while many people are remembered for what they achieved, the true measure of legacy lies in what continues after them, describing the eye camp as initiatives as a vision rooted in compassion.
