RR Pearl Tower One Now home for URA’s Real Estate Tax Office

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has officially shifted its Real Estate Tax Office from its Nakawa headquarters to the 9th floor of RR Pearl Tower One along Yusuf Lule Road, directly opposite the Ministry of Health headquarters.

According to the notice released by URA the move is aimed at strategically improving service through streamlining real estate compliance, enhance tax administration accessibility, and improve client service delivery for commercial and residential property stakeholders.

In the notice URA management  advises all property developers, landlords, and real estate taxpayers to direct future physical inquiries and filings to the new 9th-floor suites at RR Pearl Tower One.

The relocation places a vital specialized revenue unit inside the landmark RR Pearl Tower One—a signature property developed by Meera Investments Ltd. under the Ruparelia Group.

The choice of RR Pearl Tower as the new home comes at a time when Uganda continues to place greater emphasis on improving compliance and revenue collection from the rapidly expanding real estate sector.

The Real Estate Tax Office officially moved to the new premises effective  September 7, 2026.
