Rev. Fr. Ambrose Bwangato cautions parents on  child morals

The Kampala archdiocese pastoral coordinator and newly appointed parish priest of Nabbingo parish under the Kampala archdiocese Rev. Fr. Ambrose Bwangato has challenged parents to ensure  they take extra care of their children during these long festive holidays as a vehicle of protecting them against immoral activities.

He made the remarks last week while officiating at the Trinity College Nabbingo annual Christmas carols 2025 festival which event coincided with the bidding farewell to their outgoing parish priest Rev Fr. Charles Kiggundu who heads to Nkozi as new parish priest respectively.

The students showcased   a mixed grill of entertainment activities including drama depicting the birth of Christ, singing of hymns  and  a live college jazz band ahead of the Christmas festive season.

 Fr.Bwangato appreciated the college for instilling good morals among the students and urged the parents to ensure those good deeds are maintained while at home through engaging the children in household chores among other activities and also appreciated the many projects they are undertaking which aims to add value to the college’s future education journey.

The college headmistress Lwanga Immaculate Nasozi highlighted the many achievements they have attained during this outgoing year.

She thanked all persons and organizations that endeavored to support their flagship projects among them the construction of the state of art 2,500 capacity seater Chapel and the proposed Trinity junior school that shall serve as a pupil feeder into the college among others.

Nasozi reminded the country  that Nabbingo  started its education journey in 1942, being a contemporary girls’ school, its mission is “to produce women who are morally upright, academically sound and socially balanced and physically capable”  by educating the future female leaders of this country in an environment that is at once ambitious and joyful.
