Peter Sifuma delivered a standout performance, scoring 21 points and grabbing seven rebounds to lead the JT Jaguars to a victory.

JT Jaguars registered a 62-58 win over the JKL Dolphins in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Sunday.

Victor Bwana (12 points) and Aaron John Eboyu (10 points) also reached double figures to support the Jaguars’ offence.

On the other side, Kenneth Mesho led the scoring for the Dolphins with 18 points, while Haron Alinaitwe added 12 and Clement Kabangu contributed 10.

The Jaguars bounced back from a heavy defeat to the Namuwongo Blazers on Friday to return to winning ways.

It was a tightly contested game from the start. The Jaguars edged the first quarter 13-12 and built a seven-point lead (33-26) by halftime, capped by a layup from Sifuma.

The Dolphins mounted a fight in the third period, cutting the deficit to just three points (44-41).

The Jaguars managed to hold their ground and secure a hard-fought four-point victory.
