Over 600 complete their studies at the 18th ISBAT graduation ceremony.
On 12th November 2025 ISBAT held their 18th graduation where over 600 students have been conferred dominated by STEM fields which according to experts indicates strengthened confidence for the future of Uganda’s next leaders in public & private space.
The graduation ceremony that took place at hotel Africana was commended by Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB) for the university’s commitment to competence-based assessment and training.
Dr. Chris Baryomunsi the ICT and national guidance minister applauded the university for fostering science, YCT, and international collaborations.

Mr. Nyombi Tembo
The Uganda Communications Commission Executive Direction Nyombi Tembo who delivered an inspiring keynote address on “Transforming higher education through integration of emerging technologies” at the graduation ceremony reflecting on the profound impact of technology on the world today. He urged institutions of higher learning to embrace innovation as a catalyst for relevance and growth.
“As the pace of technological change accelerates, universities must evolve beyond traditional teaching models to become spaces of knowledge creation, experimentation and impact”, he said.
The ED added that “Artificial Intelligence can deliver knowledge, but it cannot inspire curiosity. Virtual Reality can simulate empathy, but it cannot feel compassion. The true power of education lies in the human spirit in mentorship, dialogue, and discovery.”
