Maroons Captain David Ndihabwe expects a tough and physical game against Busoga United on Thursday but wants his teammates to build on the last two matches.

The Prisoners beat Express 2-0 and drew goalless away against Mbarara City after faltering in the earlier matches.

“We are pleased with how we managed the last two games against Express and Mbarara City and want to build on that,” said Ndihabwe.

“It will be tricky against Busoga United; a side fighting relegation and we expect a tough and physical game.

“But playing at home gives us belief and the return of a few individuals is a big boost and we are ready to win.”

Maroons are 7th on the table with 35 points and have a chance to close in on the top five to two points if they do win.

On the other hand, Busoga United are 14th with 18 points and want a victory to steer away from the relegation monster.

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw and the last nine league meetings have always been close with either side managing two victories.

Hot Stat: Busoga United’s two victories over Maroons have all come at Luzira.
