Coach Asaph Mwebaze has on Monday confirmed end his working relationship with FUFA Big League outfit Mbale Heroes FC.

The coach took to his official social media accounts to confirm he has reached a mutual understading with the club to step aside.

“Mbale Heroes FC and myself have mutually agreed to part ways,” he wrote before adding, “It has been a great experience with great expectations.”

The club’s recent performance could have sparked off the reasons for departure of Mwebaze.

The Surgeons have failed to win in their last three League games, losing to Kataka and Kaaro Karungi and most recently, drawing at home to Lugazi FC, a game in which they conceded a late equalizer.

It is reported that at the end of the game against Lugazi FC, some fans tried to attack Mwebaze.

He leaves the club in tight contention for promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

“Club is in a healthy position to attain promotion. Thanks to the team , Chris Omony, Badru Chemisito,Wamududa, Madam Jessica, Magambo and Technical staff.” Mwebaze noted.

Reliable reports indicate Simon Ddungu aka coach Ddunga willl take over for the reminder of the season.
