KCCA coach Abdallah Mubiru wants his side to build momentum as they host Busoga United on Thursday as the league returns from the international break.

The Kasasiro won their last two games before the break and victory over relegation fighting Busoga United could see them climb up to sixth position on the table.

Mubiru admits how tough it is to manage such a break especially with many players away but happy that the players are in good mood and ready to give everything to win.

“It’s a very complicated moment managing things in the international break especially when you have players away,” he stated. “The good thing is none returned injured and we are now trying to manage their fitness level,” he added.

Haruna Lukwago and Usama Arafat return to the team after heroics in the All Africa Games in Accra, Ghana but Ugandan internationals Muhammad Shaban and Ashraf Mugume could miss out as they arrived late from duty in Marrakech.

In the reverse fixture, KCCA lost 2-1 in what was Mubiru’s first game in charge.

Busoga United are currently 14th with 17 points after 20 league matches.

Hot Stat: KCCA have won five of the six home matches against Busoga United.
