Mckee house are the 2026 Namilyango college MDD champions

The members of Mckee house at Namilyango college burst out into jubilation after they were declared as the 2026 college MDD champions having beaten a total of 11 other houses.
The houses tussled it out in a two day tight interhouse competitions before crowning it on Saturday with the finals an event which excited the over 1 000 parents that attended the day long event.
The headmaster Namilyango college Mpuuga Constantine Sajabbi was chief guest during their 2nd college annual music dance and drama interhouse competitions held at the college.
Mpuuga pictured above in his remarks observed that government should make deliberate effort to encourage schools to budget for this
crucial activity as it is part of the new lower secondary competence based curriculum that empowers learners with self esteem skills like teamwork, creativity, discipline, leadership as well as promoting cultural diversity.
He thanked the parents for supporting and encouraging their sons to venture into MDD activities which have become an income generating profession saying the boys are on the right track for future prosperity.
We sincerely thank the parents who turned up for the event and making a humble gate contribution fee towards the cost of the event which effort cannot be undermined' he noted adding that there presence adds value and confidence among the boys.
Mckee house energed overall champions having collected 523 points who walked away with a bull followed by .Mukasa with
520 who got three goats while in third place was Kiwanuka with 489 points respectively out of a total of 12 houses.
The parent appreciated the great work being done by the college headmaster Mpuuga especially building the college development agenda in the tight direction.
They also appreciated the teamwork by staff which enabled college to put up a good UCE performance by their boys.
Mckee house members collectively on.behalf of all the 12 houses thanked their house captains and the college administration for giving them an opportunity to exercise their musical talent identification a programme they pledged to embrace as they nurtured their future entertainment careers
