Manish Packers in Indore lists home, office and vehicle moves, yet its prices and ratings conflict. Here is what to verify before paying a deposit.
The Indore company advertises homes, offices, vehicles and storage, but its own web page gives clashing prices, ratings and experience claims, so get everything in writing before you pay.
What Manish Packers says it offers in Indore
If you're comparing movers in Indore, here's the short version. Manish Packers and Movers Private Limited describes many kinds of services, but the claims on its own pages haven't been backed up with documents, and some of them contradict each other. Treat the page as a sales pitch, not a record.
The company says it handles residential, commercial and vehicle moves. Its Indore page lists packing, loading and unpacking for homes, office relocation for businesses, and car and bike transport within Indore or to other cities. It also advertises storage, with warehouses it says have access control, round-the-clock surveillance and climate-controlled units for delicate items. The same page mentions international relocation, interstate moves to cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, and local routes around Vijay Nagar, Scheme 54 and Dewas Naka.
A later company page says it offers local, domestic and long-distance moves, plus home, office and vehicle shifting. It advises booking at least one to two weeks ahead, especially in peak season. It says the main office is "centrally located in Indore" but gives no street address.
The company's numbers don't agree with themselves. The services page says it has served Indore "for over 25 years" and "since 1997". It claims a team of 69,000 experts averaging 17 years of experience. It gives its rating as 4.9 out of 5 from 128,220 clients in one place and 4.3 out of 5 from "over 128,220 users" in another. Both can't be true, and no independent review source is cited.
A separate site, manishpackers.in, belongs to a business called Manish Packers & Movers that describes itself as being in Mumbai. It claims "more than 15 years of experience" and lists a Boisar address in Maharashtra. Nothing there ties it to the Indore company, so keep the two apart, along with their phone numbers and prices.
Prices and claims to check before booking
The advertised prices don't settle on one number. For a local 1 BHK move (a one-bedroom flat), the company's page shows ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 in one table and "starting at ₹8,000" in the text. Another table on the same page gives ₹4,500 to ₹10,000 for a 1 BHK move in Nyay Nagar, and ₹3,000 to ₹10,000 for local shifting under 50 km. A general table says local household shifting for 1-3 BHK runs ₹7,000 to ₹17,000, while another says residential moving costs that same starting figure of ₹8,000 up to ₹18,000.
Other lines vary too. Office relocation within Indore appears as ₹14,000 to ₹45,000 and as ₹15,000 to ₹50,000. Car transport starts at ₹5,000 in the text and ₹5,500 in one table. Bike transport tops out at ₹9,000 in one table and ₹8,000 in another. One cargo row is garbled, with the price missing. Interstate moves are only said to "vary".
For a rough outside check, the AssureShift directory puts local shifting in Indore at ₹4,000 to ₹10,900 for a 1 BHK, and ₹5,850 to ₹16,600 for a 2 BHK. Porter, a logistics app, lists a 1 BHK at ₹2,200 and a 2 BHK at ₹4,500, and says prices vary with the quantity of goods moved. These are other providers' figures and aren't like-for-like quotes, but they show how far prices spread across the market.
The bigger gaps are in the promises. The company's pages say it is IBA approved (the Indian Banks' Association list that matters to people moving on a bank transfer) and ISO 9001:2008 certified, and that it offers basic, enhanced or specialised insurance. They show no certificate, policy wording, cover limit or claims process, and no independent evidence for the ratings or awards. Insurance itself isn't mandatory, but the AssureShift guide calls it highly recommended, and says any damage claim depends on the policy you chose.
So before you book, ask for a written, itemised quote covering packing, labour, transport, taxes and any storage. Ask to see the insurance policy and the IBA and ISO certificates, and check the registered business details and the office address yourself. The same guide advises comparing quotes from at least three to five movers and checking GST registration. None of this endorses the company. It's what you'd want in hand before handing over a deposit.
