Manish Packers and Movers in Indore: Services & Prices
Explore Manish Packers and Movers in Indore, including relocation services, moving prices, packing quality, and essential checks before booking.
The company's own website lists household, office, vehicle and storage services in Indore, but it quotes different prices for the same job and gives conflicting figures for its age, size and rating.
What the company says it offers in Indore
Manish Packers and Movers Private Limited presents itself as a packing and moving firm based in Indore. Its website says it handles household moves, office and commercial relocations, vehicle transport and storage, and that it works both within the city and across India. Everything below is the company's own description unless stated otherwise. None of it has been independently checked.
For homes, the company says it packs, loads, transports and unpacks, and that it handles local moves, interstate moves and apartment moves. Its office service covers small businesses, startups and larger corporates, including sensitive equipment and office furniture. For vehicles, it says it moves cars, bikes and commercial vehicles, within Indore or to other cities. The packing materials it names are sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, foam padding, strapping and furniture wrapping.
Storage is the other big offer. The company says its Indore warehouses have access control and 24/7 surveillance, offer climate-controlled units for delicate items, and come with an inventory system. It also lists international relocation, with customs paperwork and partner agencies abroad. For local routes it names Vijay Nagar, Scheme 54 and Dewas Naka, and for long distance it names Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
On trust, the company says it is IBA-approved, meaning approved by the Indian Banks' Association, and ISO 9001:2008 certified. It says this approval matters most to people moving on a bank transfer. It also says it offers insurance in basic, enhanced and specialised tiers. A directory listing describes the same range, covering homes, offices, cars and bikes, and promises "transparent pricing".
Prices and claims that need clarification
If you want one number for a small move, you won't find a clean one. The website's own tables disagree with each other. A 1 BHK local move (one bedroom, hall and kitchen) is listed at ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 in one table. Another table gives ₹4,500 to ₹10,000 for a 1 BHK move in Nyay Nagar, and a third gives ₹3,000 to ₹10,000 for a 1 BHK local shift under 50 km. Elsewhere the page says household shifting for 1 to 3 BHK runs ₹7,000 to ₹17,000, while another table puts the same 1 to 3 BHK range at a starting figure equal to the first 1 BHK price and a top of ₹18,000.
The other services show the same drift. Office relocation within Indore appears as ₹14,000 to ₹45,000 in one table and ₹15,000 to ₹50,000 in others. Separate tables put commercial relocation at ₹20,000 to ₹75,000 and corporate relocation at ₹25,000 to ₹100,000. Car transport appears as ₹5,500 to ₹25,000 and as ₹5,000 to ₹25,000, and the text says it "starts at ₹5,000". Bike transport starts at ₹3,000 throughout, with the top end given as ₹9,000 in one place and ₹8,000 in another. One table prices a 550 CFT container house shift at INR 4,000 to INR 60,000, and a 1050 CFT container at INR 23,000 to INR 115,000. CFT means cubic feet, a measure of load volume. Storage is listed at ₹12 to ₹20 per square foot per month, or ₹15 to ₹25 for climate-controlled space.
The company's own description of itself is just as unsettled. The website says it has served Indore "since 1997" and for "over 25 years". A trade directory gives 1990 as the year of establishment, and another gives 1999. That's three different start dates for one firm.
The rating and headcount conflict too. The same page claims a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 128,220 clients in some places and 4.3 out of 5 from "over 128,220 users" in another. It also claims a team of 69,000 experts, yet the ExportersIndia listing puts the number of employees at 251 to 500. These are different things being counted, so don't treat them as the same figure. Given all this, get a current written quote for your own move and ask exactly what it covers before you agree to anything.
Details to confirm before booking
The company's own website says it has a "main office" in Indore and a customer service number, but the retrieved text gives no street address or phone number. Directory listings do. One lists Shop No 4, Agarwal Market, Lasudia Mori, Dewas Naka, Indore 452010, with the phone number +918000780284, a WhatsApp number 9303355424 and the email address info@packersmoverscompany.in [getbusiness.co.in]. Another gives Shop No 732, Scheme No 78, Dewas Naka, Indore 452010. The two addresses differ, and the ExportersIndia listing offers 09303355424. Confirm which office you're dealing with, and visit or call before you pay.
Insurance needs the most care. The website says insurance is available but doesn't name an insurer, a coverage amount or any exclusions. It says commercial vehicles come with "comprehensive insurance", and a directory says its warehouses are insured against natural calamities. Ask for the policy terms in writing. Ask what's covered in transit, what isn't, and how a claim is made.
Also settle the scope of work, the final price and what's included, such as packing, loading, unpacking and storage. The company also lists small cargo rates, such as ₹150 plus 18% GST for a local shipment up to 10 kg, so ask whether GST applies to your job. As for timing, the company recommends contacting it at least one to two weeks ahead, especially in peak season, so ask for a written quote early. Check any certificate the company shows you before relying on its IBA or ISO claims.
