Makindye SS registers 263 Result one in UCE

UCE Results Release 2025: Makindye Secondary school registered a total of 263 result one while 68 scored As, 811 Bs, 1,407 Cs and only 55Ds respectively.

Tthe school located along Salaama Munyonyo road in Makindye division, Mr. Sawula Isaac the school co director in charge of general duties and admissions said all the candidates passed with flying colors and attributed the success to team work among the teachers, administration, students and parents whose collective efforts managed to post good results.

Isaac said the school ranked by the division education department as among the top performers listed the best done subjects as chemistry were they scored 5 As, 114 Bs and 141 Cs while mathematics registered 6 As, 108 Bs and 147 Cs as well as CRE which was optional delivering 20 As, 48 Bs and 96 Cs respectively.

He commended the school principal Kiyimba Christine and his team for providing all the necessary logistical support which enabled the teachers to collectively put up a good performance saying they would continue with their culture of improving performance standards.

Earlier during the S1 selection exercise at Lugogo the school got 536 new students with their cut off points standing at 15 girls and 12 for boys respectively according to the school director of studies [DoS] Sekasamba Henry.  

The two appealed to parents to send them more students given the availability of an all-round education infrastructure capable of offering the desired academic and co-curricular education to the citizens of Uganda and beyond.
